Bayer Leverkusen have completed a deal which will see Thomas Zdebel join them on a six month deal...
The 35-year-old was just recently stripped of his captaincy and relegated to the reserves at Bochum, as his relationship with coach Marcel Koller had reportedly soured to the point that it was the cause of unrest within the team.
Needless to say, Zdebel was delighted to have traded up teams.
"I have now arrived at a top club and for me it is a big challenge to measure myself against the lads," Zdebel told the Leverkusen's official website.
"I think that with my experience and the way I play football I can help the team."
