Franck Ribéry and Carlos Tévez both want to join Barcelona and are pushing for a switch to Camp Nou in the summer after the Catalan club's incredible upturn in fortunes this term, according to a report.

The Blaugrana's form this season has won them many admirers and two world class players want to join the party, although the club are only likely to consider taking one of them on.

Tévez has been linked with many of Europe's biggest clubs, including Inter and Real Madrid, but El Mundo Deportivo state that if he had the choice he could join Barça.

Nicknamed 'The Apache' in Argentina, the former Corinthians goalscorer does not officially belong to Manchester United and, while the Premier League outfit mull over paying the €39 million asking price, speculation over his future will continue.

Given Samuel Eto'o's form and Thierry Henry's ability to move across to play in the centre, Pep Guardiola has no desire to bring in a new striker at the moment.

In the summer that may change, although it is believed that a taller and more powerful forward is what the Barça coach would prefer, with Lyon's Karim Benzema at the top of his list.

A better bet to reinforce the club's ranks is Ribéry as Barcelona have been keeping tabs on the 25-year-old for a number of seasons and have been alerted to his desire to step up a level.

Despite his contract with Bayern running until 2011, the French international recently stated that he would probably not see that out, however, the German club will not let him leave on the cheap.

The Bavarian outfit paid around €25 million to prise Ribéry from Marseille and were reported to have rejected a bid of €40m from Chelsea last season.

Nike could have a hand in both Ribéry's and Tévez's next moves as bother players are sponsored by the sportswear giants and Barça would be seen as an ideal destination for them both.
