The Serbian midfielder has suffered a twisted knee in training and he is in serious doubt for the game against Cagliari...
Inter midfielder Dejan Stankovic has suffered a nasty knee injury during Thursday afternoon's training session, and he could be ruled out for quite some time.
Stanko trained with the rest of the squad indoors after heavy snow made it impossible to train outside. A twisted knee is what followed, after the player was put through his paces.
He has been ruled out of the Cagliari clash on Saturday night, and it could be worse.
A statement on the club's official website reads:
"Dejan Stankovic has undergone examinations with club doctor Franco Combi as a result of a twisted knee sustained during the afternoon training session.
"The conditions of the player will be evaluated over the next few hours and we cannot rule out a possible rehabiliation programme."
It's not the news Inter wanted to hear as they continue their run towards the Scudetto.
