The stopper could be kicked out of Brazil after failing to show up for training; Juve and Inter are ready to save him...
Juventus target Felipe Mattioni is on the verge of being sacked by Brazilian club Gremio, and, as the transfer saga takes another twist, Inter have now joined the race to snap-up the young defender.
The Old Lady are keen on the 20-year-old Brazilian stopper and reports suggest Mattioni will end up in Turin at some point during the transfer window.
Mattioni has been in Italy this week and his agent Mino Raiola is trying to get him into a Serie A club. As a result, the player has missed vital training sessions with Gremio and Il Corriere Dello Sport claims the Brazilian club are ready to terminate his contract.
Reports suggested Mattioni was having a medical with Juventus but his agent denied it. With a possible sacking and the Juve deal looking shaky, Inter have jumped in and they are ready to profit from the Bianconeri's failures.
Gremio want €7 million for their man, whose future should be clearer early next week as the agent prepares himself for a tug of war between the Italian clubs.
The Old Lady are favourites to land him as some strength in defence is needed in Turin but the Nerazzurri are ready to ruin the deal.
