Milan midfielder David Beckham has been allowed to meet wife Victoria in the centre of Rome for some sightseeing, and, of course shopping, while the rest of the team continue working hard.
The Englishman landed in the capital city with the rest of the squad after flying back from Dubai this morning.
However, rather than stay with his team-mates, Becks asked to spend the rest of the afternoon with his wife, even though Milan need to prepare for their game against Roma on Sunday.
Ansa.it claims the club have allowed him to do what he wants this evening as the rest of the squad continue their preparations. It is believed the former Manchester United star had some lunch at the ATA hotel in Rome before dashing out to meet Victoria.
The Rossoneri have come under heavy fire for the way they have been lenient with Beckham. On Thursday, Bayern Munich director Uli Hoeness slammed the Italians for their behaviour in Dubai.
Beckham is expected to make his full Serie A debut against the Giallorossi on Sunday. However, the latest reports suggest it could be delayed as he is not in top-form.
