The speculation is mounting over the future of Cicinho at Roma, as the latest reports indicate that the Giallorossi are lining up a replacement.
Cicinho has had a fairly inconsistent time in the Italian capital, as not only did he take a while to find his feet initially, however he has failed to put together consistent performances throughout. He is yet to cement a spot in the starting line-up, and doesn’t look set to do so in the near future either.
He has the potential to be one of the best wingers in the world, and he has shown glimpses at times in Rome, however not often enough, which has led to rumours surrounding his future at the club over the course of the season.
In recent times, it has been reported that the Giallorossi would be prepared to offload him in January, reports that have led to other clubs, such as Brazil’s Internacional, expressing their interest in him.
In addition to this, the capital club are reportedly lining up Luis Miguel of Valencia as a replacement for the right wingback, just in case a move away from the club is the eventual outcome.
The agent of the Valencia man has declared recently that there has been no official interest shown by Roma, however according to rumours coming from the player’s home town in Portugal, if he were to leave Valencia, then Roma would be his first choice.
