AS Roma midfielder Alberto Aquilani has dismissed rumours suggesting that he could leave the club after talks over a new contract hit the buffers.
The 24-year-old Italy international has been strongly linked with a move to Juventus, but Aquilani insists he is going nowhere.
He told Sky Italia: "I have grown up at this club and I've spent half of my life here. It's obvious that my priority remains Rome and Roma forever
"There have been a few difficulties with my contract, that is true, but the problems will be overcome and I am confident that we will find an agreement."
Aquilani has made well over 100 appearances for Roma to date, while he was also a member of the Italy squad for last summer's European Championship finals.
